What are the differences between inside and in?

eg.

1. I put the apple in the box.

2. I put the apple inside the box.

3. I found the dog hiding in the car.

4. I found the dog hiding inside the car.

5. I feel very hurting deep in my heart.

6. I feel very hurting deep inside my heart.
