Turn to
"In my paper I first discussed the similarities between these industries and then turned to their differences."
Is this usage of "turn to" correct? I had assumed that it was, but now I'm not so sure. I'm using "turn to" to mean something like "turned my attention to," but I can't find this meaning of "turn to" in my dictionary.
Thanks!

I think it's OK, but I prefer "In my paper I first discussed the similarities between these industries and then considered their differences."
