    is it possible to say (with the same meaning)

    1) How was your weekend?

    2) what was your weekend like?


    3) How is your best friend?

    4) What is your best friend like?

    1 and 2 mean the same.

    3 means 'What is the state of your best friend's health?'

    4 means 'Is your best friend tall/short, fat/thin, merry/grumpy?'
