    Default to risk my significance

    Hi,

I read a quotation of Dawna Markova, but don't understand one sentence, could anyone help me?

    Thank you very much.

"I will not die an unlived life...I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me...I choose to risk my significance."--Dawna Markova

What does the underlined part mean?

    Thanks for the help. ^_^

It would be great if you mentioned that this is from a poem and that you broke the phrase off in the middle of a sentence. People, provide proper context if you want answers! We shouldn't need to google to help you.

    Thank you for the advise.
You are right, I should provide full context,
even though what I wrote earlier (with ...part) was exactly what I read in the book.

I have learned from your reply that although I only had part of the poem in the first place, I should find the complete poem for whom I am asking help from.

I will remember that. Thanks again.
