    Default smile

    Are the following sentences acceptable?

    (1) A girl who always melts her sorrow by a smile.
    (2) A girl who smiles sorrows away.

(1)... melts is a little strange for me. I would go for "A girl who drives her sorrow(s) away with a smile".

    See what others will say.

They aren't sentences. Did you mean them to be?
