    Default take a warning

Which of the following sentences is better?

    (1) Now, I will let the shameful conduct put in my heart as a warning.
    (2) Now, I will take the shameful conduct as a warning.

    Default Re: take a warning

    Hi Ashiuhto

As a NES, but not a teacher, although I wouldn't normally have said it that way, 1) doesn't work for me, but 2) does.

I would expect the rebuke for the shameful conduct to be taken as the warning.

    Hope this helps
