This is an extract from an article in an internally well-known megazine and I wonder if "from" is possible in place of "to".
- With just minutes remaining to a deadline
Or is the following fine to convey the same message as above?
With just minutes away from a deadline
Thanks in advance.
If you use "from," I'd think that the deadline has already passed. For instance, With just minutes away from a deadline would mean you just missed the deadline by few minutes away.
Therefore, I think that using "to" is the way to go.
Like any other of my responses, my answer need to be verified.
