Could you check my exercise please.
1. tom was furious with anna because she had told their friends his secret
2.she was fined £200 she had gone through the red light
3.he was 2 hours late for the wedding his car had broken down
4.he crawled out of the car lucky to escape with his life the car had began to burn
thank you so much.

I don't know if I'm supposed to do this:
If I were you, this would be how I write these sentences.
1. tom was furious with anna because she had told their friends his secret
Tom was furious with Anna because she told their friends his secret.
2.she was fined £200 she had gone through the red light
She was fined £200 after she had gone through the red light.
3.he was 2 hours late for the wedding his car had broken down
He was 2 hours late for the wedding because his car got broken down.
4.he crawled out of the car lucky to escape with his life the car had began to burn
Luckily, he crawled out of the car so he could escape with his life after the car had began to burn.
All of my answers need to be verified, but I'm 85 percent positive that I'm correct.
