1) I am organising a party and so I AM very busy at the moment OR
2) I am organising a party and so I AM BEING very busy at the moment

(1) I most respectfully suggest:
I am organizing a party, so I am very busy at the moment. I have
a million things to do.
(2) Perhaps the progressive is more appropriate in:
Tom: You look very handsome in those yellow pants (American
English for "trousers").
Joe: Really?
Tom: Of course, not. I am being sarcastic, dude!!!
