| "Ruth gets the diary translated and learns not only about her mother's past but her grandmother's too." In this sentence I'm trying to use the "get passive" pattern. Is it Ok?. Thanks, Miki. |

| It's fine- we often use 'get' in passives. Here it is a causative structure because she didn't trnaslate it herself. |
