What preposition would be best suited here?:

Frasier is a spin-off _________________ Cheers.

I would say a spin off from Cheers.

I was tempted to throw in what I thought (from or of), but I just wasn't sure. I'll go with yours.

That's the problem with trying to keep up your native tongue after having lived on foreign soil for so long - suddenly all prepositions start sounding correct!
