The sentence I had to analyse was: The window was broken during the party
I wrote these questions for my concept questions and I was told none of them are correct! Can you help me understand why please. Can you explain the form please.
When was the window broken? It was broken during the party.
Was the window broken during the party? Yes.
What was broken in the party? The window.
Was the window broken before the party? No.

They all read OK to me, except for the third. Use "during the party" not "in."
