    Cool different from

    Hello!

I'm going to organise a special meeting and I want to inform my colleagues by email. This is what I would like to tell them but I don't find it really clear, can you help me please? :

"The objective of this meeting is to make you speak about something different from what you are used to talking about."

    Cheers

The objective of this meeting is to allow you to talk about things that you normally would not talk about.

I agree with Gillnetter's post but I'll just add that I would change you to us and we.

This is with the provision that I don't know who it's for, what kind of meeting it is, or what your workplace is. But usually in communication like this it's a good idea to make things general.

"Things that you normally would not talk about" can come across wrong.
