require (again)
Thanks for your help.
A question remains. So, this sentence:
" - A friendship requires a lot of respect FROM both sides " is wrong ?
- A friendship requires both sides TO have a lot of respect ? Is tehere any other possibility ?

I don't think of a friendship as having requirements. It is, after all, an intangible thing. How about:
- For a friendship to be solid there must be mutual respect.
You could also say meaningful instead of solid.
What do you think?
