Welcome.

according to____, adverb + prepositional phrase, as stated by someone/something else, not the speaker. For example,

According to Max, Ali is not sick.
According to Sam, Ali is sick.
*According to me, Ali is sick. (ungrammatical)

Exception: syntactic replacement

Max: Someone said that Ali is sick, but he's not.
Sam: He is sick!
Max: According to who?
Sam: According to me, that's who!
