Default In Chinese custom, it is inappropriate to give clock....

    1) In Chinese custom, it is inappropriate to give clock or watch to elderly. Clock and watches symbolizes death, so it will be offensive to the receiver.
    2) In Chinese custom it is rude and offensive to give watch or clock as gift to elderly as they symbolizes death and funeral.
