Are these sentences natural? June 13
Hi,
Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?
1. This seems like a Déjà vu of 2006.
2. On the first blush it looks good.
3. Please don’t be announced yet, please don’t be announced yet. ( I said this to myself when I got late for an appointment and I was hoping that they did not announce my number yet)
Thanks,
MG.

#1 OK, but in popular usage "a" is not necessary.
#2 OK, but, again, in popular usage "the" is not necessary.
