    Post 'is' or 'are'?

    Dear teachers,

    -We should be more careful with how much ink and toner are going to be used as we hit the print button on our computers.

    Is it correct to use 'are' here? Even if each of the two things is(or are?) non-countable?

    Yes. Countability is not an issue.
    "How much flour is used in this recipe?"
    "How much flour and sugar are used in this recipe?"
