    "Could you please tell me if it is right or wrong to end a letter with:"

    If so:

    "Prepared by, confirmed by, approved by."

    Are never used in a normal letter.

    I believe that in some government departments, something like this might still be used. Very important people in government rarely write their own letters - that's the job of their minions. So it's possible that a letter might have to give details of who prepared it, who checked it and who authorised it or something similar.

    I don't know for certain though. That would be the only reason I can think of for such phrases.

    Engineering documents often have "drawn by/checked by/approved by" sections.
