NOUN COMPLEMENT

Hello!
I can't understand what NOUN COMPLEMENT means!
I have surfed on web trying to search for informations but I get very confused.
It is said that in sentences like:
1)I'm a teacher
2)Editors are curious

A theacher is a NOUN COMPLEMENT and Curious too!

As I have studied, in my opinion, "teacher" is a PREDICATE NOMINATIVE and "curious" is a PREDICATE ADJECTIVES.

...This means that Noun Complement is the same of Predicate Nominative and Predicate Adjective? It is said that it is NOT the same, but I can't understand why it is not!
In my book there is not written something about Noun Complement, so I don't know nothing about it.

Is there someone who can help me understanding the NOUN COMPLEMENT? Can you give me a little explanation with some examples?
