    Do you mean for a logical or mathematical proof or argument?

    We can say "these are taken as givens."

    Proof Strategies in Geometry - For Dummies

    For example, the above link uses "givens" when talking about proofs.

    I mean a fact that does not need to be proven. Or, to generalize it more - a fact.

    In my mother language, the plural of this exist.

    For instance:

    A great deal of ______...

    People might say that something is "a given" in a conversation. The plural version is more uncommon outside of mathematical proofs, in my experience.

    OK, I suppose it is more usual to use 'a lot of facts/ several facts'.
