Dear teachers,
Please help me with the following sentences in my diary:
1.
It was the giraffe with the longer neck and a black mane eating your food.
2.
We visited the ABC Zoo on Firday, but we left the next day.
Are there any grammatical msitakes in the sentences?
Should I change the sentences this way:
It was the giraffe with longer neck and black mane eating your food.
We visited the ABC Zoo on Firday, but we left the next day on Saturday.
Please help teachers.
Thank you.
Kitty

Rover1.
It was the giraffe with the longer neck andablack mane which ate your food. (That's if there were two giraffes.)
2.
We visited the ABC Zoo on Friday, and left the next day. (Did you spend the night there?)
Thank you Rover for the quick help.
Teacher, what if I change the sentence this way?
It was the giraffe with a long neck and black mane which ate your food.
Is it correct in grammar?
All giraffes have long necks.
In your first sentence it sounds like you are telling your friend which of two giraffes ate the food.
What does it matter anyway? The food's gone.
