I'm not sure whether this sentence is correct or not.
1) Which is better, 'ticket wicket' or 'ticket booth'?
2) Is 'trapped' correct?

I would say a "ticket booth"
as for the verb in the next sentence I would say the card got caught in the machine.

The sentence is about the automatic ticket booth which checks tickets.
(Though this is a fiction ), I carelessly put a calling card for telephone calls in the machine, which found the card invalid. So 'I' got caught in the machine, though 'the card' also was caught in the machine. In this case, 'I got caught in the machine' is correct?

It's OK to say the card got caught in the machine but you didn't get caught, unless a part of your body got literally stuck in it. I think you found yourself trapped in the sense that you didn't want to leave without the card behind and you didn't know what to do. I think it sounds all right.

In some countries, when you use an invalid card or a legitimate ticket which has the wrong destination, doors, small gates actually, open which 'trap' you.

I carelessly put a calling card in the ticket slot and I was trapped in the ticket wicket.
