Dear English teachers Is it correct to say who are playing in the yard? Thanks
Originally Posted by mrbin Dear English teachers Is it correct to say who are playing in the yard? Thanks "The children who are playing in the yard live next door" is fine. Is that what you mean? If you mean the question, "Who are playing in the yard?", no, it's not correct.

N.A.T. If you change the form of the verb you will get a correct question: "Who is playing in the yard?"
