Hi! I studied english a long time ago and from a young age, so I don't really remember grammatical rules...
I was wondering what the difference between
"The antigens can be usually detected during the acute phase and the symptomatic phase of the disease"
"The antigens can usually be detected during the acute phase and the symptomatic phase of the disease"
was...are they both grammatically correct? I mean, the second one sounds better, but I don't think the first one is necessarily wrong...
Your second example is correct. Place frequency words ( e.g."usually") between two-word verbs.
