1- you just keep going
2- Not clear- it depends what 'it' is, but it sounds as if its something you don't want to go against
3- either fall unconscious, or cut all lights because of electricity failure, danger, etc
4- Someone who can't distinguish musical notes well and cannot reproduce them
5- got us out of a mess
8- Makes me feel sick or scared
