I have a polish friend learinig English in school, she asked me how to use Continous, Simular and Present. I did not learn this myslef, after going to school in England. I know of Past, Present and future, but this seems odd. Please tell me if this is totaslly different and if so what are the meanings in the english language.
Thank you
Jozef
I think she means continuous and simple:
I am writing to you. Present continuous- for an incomplete action at the time of speaking/writing
I write every day- Present simple for a repeated action
