Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Please keep off the lawn until dry (or until it is dry).

2. At the time I was sleeping away.

3. What is this fragrance? (I asked this question to the person wearing a nice perfume)

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Please keep off the lawn until dry (or until it is dry). Either is OK but I would prefer to use the contraction "it's".

2. At the time I was sleeping away. "Away" in that context is a little strange but not wrong for me. How about "soundly"?

3. What is this fragrance? (I asked this question to the person wearing a nice perfume) OK or "that fragrance" (on another person).

Please keep off the lawn until it's dry. Your version could be taken to mean that people are to keep off the lawn until they (the people) are dry!

2. At the time I was sleeping away.
Do you just mean you were asleep, or you were sleeping/staying "away from home" (at a hotel or a friend's house)?

3. What is this fragrance? (I asked this question to the person wearing a nice perfume)
What is that perfume you're wearing?
What perfume are you wearing? It's lovely!

I meant I was deep in sleep ( I am not sure if 'deep in sleep' is a correct phrase)

I was fast asleep.
I was in a deep sleep.
I was sleeping very deeply.
I was out for the count (sort of slang).
