Please keep off the lawn until it's dry. Your version could be taken to mean that people are to keep off the lawn until they (the people) are dry!

Do you just mean you were asleep, or you were sleeping/staying "away from home" (at a hotel or a friend's house)?
3. What is this fragrance? (I asked this question to the person wearing a nice perfume)
