technical fiber What does "technical fiber" mean in the following?
Why couldn't we wear something natural? Merino was a high-performance technical fiber that no one knew about.

Teacher Re: technical fiber This is somewhat confusing, as merino is a very soft wool (a natural fiber,) whereas the term technical fiber refers to synthetics such as polyester and polypropylene.
