Default same word but different meaning in different decades

    Hello,,

I am looking for one word that has different meanning or used in different meaning for two different time period. e.g. (a) word used in 1800 that meant (table) but nowadays we use it for different meaning, lets say (smart boy).

    Is there any?

    There are plenty.

I'll start with gay (happy/homosexual); queer (peculiar/homosexual); fairy etc.
