    Default Quick who/whom Q

    Are the "whoms" in these sentences correct or should it be "who?"

    The woman whom I met on the bus is Mr. Tomas' wife.

    I met the man whom the author wrote about in his book.

    They appear to be correct "whoms" to me.

    If you want to use whom in the second, why not move the preposition and say about whom the author...?
