    Default Generalize

    The man had a bad experience with an English tutor, now he is afraied to hire a tutor in biology.
    Can I say ''He should not generalize his bad experience that he had with his English tutor to other tutors in biology''. How do you say in English?

    One suggestion:

    He should not allow his bad experience with his English tutor to negatively affect his decision to hire a biology tutor.
