Is this sentence grammatically correct, please?
"He is dressed the same way as people were one hundred years ago".

It is grammatically correct, yes.
I'm trying to work out if there's another/a better way of saying it but I can only come up with alternatives which aren't necessarily better.
He is dressed in the style of a hundred years ago.
He dresses as people did a hundred years ago. (Although this suggest that he regularly dresses in this way, not necessarily that he is currently wearing that style of clothing).
He is dressed in a century-old style.
