Hi,

I am new to this forum, so if this is posted in the wrong spot please forgive me.

I have a big problem with grammar and/or mechanics. I do not "catch" my errors even when I attempt to edit my essays and letters. When I ask for help my teachers basic tell me to "take your time when you edit your work." So I decided to join a ESL forum. Maybe by writing something once a week, and getting others opinion on it, or even by attempting to give others feed back on their work, might help.

Hopefully this work.

Any other ideas on what I should do? Thanks in advance for any advice!

There's a mistake in the second line, where you have used the wrong form of a word. In line three, you need to change a word and add an apostrophe and in the last line, you need remove a space. Can you spot them?

Thank you for the wonderful comments and observations. It took me a few minutes, but I think I found the errors!

I'd say "others' opinions"- I'd ask more than one person. Glad to help.
