Is the sentence "I am making it abundantly clear to you" correct use of the word abundantly?
Yes, although I have rarely heard it used by the person doing the "making clear". I would normally use it in the following context:
"OK, you've made it abundantly clear to me that you don't want to go to the cinema, so what DO you want to do?!"
I think I've used "you/he/she/they made it abundantly clear" more often than "I made it abundantly clear" although it's perfectly fine.
I think it sounds a little unnatural in the present continuous but I'm not sure why.![]()
