Which are correct:

1-A beaten man came in.
2-A very beaten man came in.
3-A much beaten man came in.
4-A very much beaten man came in.

5-That man is beaten.
6That man is very beaten.
7-That man is much beaten.
8-That man is very much beaten.

"Beaten" here is supposed to mean "physically beaten" and not "defeated".

I think since "beaten" is a past partciple all of these sentences should technically work. (One could replace "man" with "car" and "beaten" with "damaged") But I am not sure any of them are idiomatic.
