Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

2. Over the years, a lot of people wondered that if there was a company that should be able to take on this issue head on, it was our.

For 1, I would drop the also as I think it sounds more natural without:
Isn't that how you were planning to do it?

2. I'm a bit unclear on what you want to say in this sentence, but try:
Over the years, a lot of people have speculated that if there was a company that should be able to tackle this issue head on, it was ours.

3. Unless time is a major factor, I prefer the following but I appreciate that I'm changing your sentence quite a bit - yours is ok too.

Given the benefit of hindsight how would you have reacted?

1. Isn’t that how you were also planning to do it?
Fine - if 'also' goes with 'planning to do it'; i'e' if you were not only reading about it but also planning to to do it.

2. Over the years, a lot of people wondered that whether, if there was a company that should be able to take on this issue head on, it was ours.

3. If time were not had not been an issue and you had had perfect knowledge, how would you have reacted?
or: If time were not an issue and you had perfect knowledge, how would you react?

I prefer 'full knowledge' to 'perfect knowledge'.

The 'also' was meant for 'you'; i.e. both he and you were planning to do it.
