Dear friends
I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some advice about paraphrasing.
I'd like to paraphraze a text and I don't want to be a plagiarizer could you simply explain to me the rules for paraphrasing.

I don't know what school or university you go to and the professors usually have their own preferences, but when I was in university we used the Harvard referencing system:

Whatever the rules preferred by your school, the point is that plagiarism [note the spelling - which is not just a Br Eng preference - in every language I know it's an '-ism[e/a/o]'] involves passing off someone else's words as your own. Use your own words, and - using whatever system your school prefers - make it clear whose ideas you're paraphrasing.

"Paraphrase" doesn't have a "z" in it either, no matter which side of the Atlantic you are on.
