    Question the sound of a transceiver...

    Hi all.

    What is the sound a transceiver makes? It is "rustling", "crackling", "hissing", or something else?

    They may crackle, hiss, buzz or squawk, but they don't rustle, in my opinion. They probably do a few other things as well.

    No, transceivers don't make that sound in BrE.
