I looked at your resume/story/profile again today and thought--again--it was (is? was and is?) fabulous.
I have this problem often. When I'm referring to something that I thought and still currently think is great/terrible/funny/etc., I am unsure if I should use the past, or the present, or both.
Please advise.
Thanks!
Donna
How about changing thought to think? After all, it is your opinion now that matters.
However, the original sentence was quite natural, in my opinion. The thought came when donnach looked at the profile.

Both 'was' and 'is' are fine; 'was and is' is possible - the resume/story/profile was fabulous when it was written, and it still is today. I think I'd use 'was'.
