    Default has being charged

    Is the tense correct?

The woman has being charged by a mistake for a broken closet door in a dormitory. The man suggests that her roomate may have broken it.

Thank you so much for your respons.

No, the tense is incorrect. "Being" is ungrammatical here. "Been" would be.

Also, it's "by mistake", not "by a mistake".

"A dormitory" sounds a little bit strange. Isn't it a specific dormitory?

The woman has been charged by (there is no 'a') mistake for a broken closet door in a dormitory. The woman (?) suggests that her room-mate (US: roommate) may have broken it.

Thank you so much for your response.

Oops. Looks like I spend too much time fiddling with the colours. Somebody got there quicker.
