Default verb congugation

Please explain the use of the verb in this sentence. Is it correct?

Dr. Jones said, "You have drunk too much soda."

drink, drank, drunk

'drunk' is a past participle.

Present: drink, drinks
Past: drank
Perfect: have drunk, has drunk, had drunk
