    Default compared to

    Which are correct:
    1-If you work here your chances of success will be better compared to if you work in another city.
    2-Now that I have worked for my father, I am ahead compared to if I had worked for someone else.
    3-Since I worked hard this year, I am doing well compared to last year.

    Only #3 uses "compared to" correctly.
