    Default long commuting isn't easy

    Dear all,

Let's say it takes me two hours from home to my office. In that case, does it sound natural to say, "Long commuting isn't easy, but I enjoy reading and listenning to music on the train"?

If it doesn't sound natural, how would you express the meaning more naturally?

    I'd appreciate your help.

    OP

    Semi-teacher and native.

I would say, 'Having a long commute isn't easy, but I enjoy reading and listening to music on the train.'

Shroob has given you an excellent answer. I'll just suggest one more option. "Long-distance commuting isn't easy, but I ..."
