You usually say "a bunch of flowers" or "a bouquet of flowers". What do you call only one flower? For instance, can we say "a branch of Roses"?

If you want to refer to a single flower I think a bit of name calling would be quite in order. So I would say 'a rose', 'a tulip', 'a daffodil' or whatever flower I wanted to talk about.
By the way, 'branches' is something you find on trees. With flowers 'a stem' or 'a stalk' would be a more appropriate word to use.
