    Default Throw

After children ate the candy, they threw the wrappers on the floor instead of throwing them into the trash cans.

It is very hard for me to pronounce '' th'', can I use ''toss'' or ''drop'' instead of ''throw''?
Could you please tell me which verb can be used as a substitute for ''throw''.

    Thank you for your response.

I have shown above how you could replace the word 'throw'. As there are many words in the English language with "th" I suggest that you keep practising to pronounce "th". Have a look in an English-English dictionary for the various uses of the word 'throw'. For example, if the children in your sentence have eaten too many candies they might throw up.

Thank you so much, but during the exam I have to be careful, better safe than sorry.
