It means that we are ready to start or about to start something exciting/terrifying/adventurous/new. Depending on context, it might come across slightly differently but it basically means "We are about to start!" What we are about to start would only be clear from context.

I was just thinking the same thing. Whilst I agree with 5jj's request to limit the number of punctuation marks, I realised that I would read a different context into it depending on the number of exclamation marks (rightly or wrongly used!)

(On a roller coaster) Here we go!!!!! = excitement.
(Talking to someone as in Bennevis' example) Here we go again! = annoyance
(At a restaurant) Here we go. = perhaps the arrival of expected food or something similar ("Aha. Here we go. Food's arrived.")
