    Question are these sentences correct?

    are these sentences correct? Did I use "Could" rightly in these sentences?

    "We could love all since it was easy but we could not trust everybody. Trusting everybody could be disastrous and devastating and it might lead us to risk our reputation."

    They are correct, if you are referring to a past situation. If you are referring to a hypothetical situation, then 'was' should be 'would be'.

    It would be easier to comprehend on first reading if the fourth word were 'everybody'.
