Seem X appear Which one is wrong ?
the baby appears wrong OR the baby seems hungry

Re: Seem X appear You can say "Something appears to be wrong with the baby," but not your first sentence.
Remember that proper English sentences require capitalization and punctuation.I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Teacher Re: Seem X appear I think you've made a slip, and that you mean: "The baby seems hungry" vs. "The baby appears hungry."
