Default Literary Info

My child was told to look a literary (sondra) I am not sure if I spelled this write or not. Please help me help my child. The teacher stated the example was fantasy.

It sounds as if the teacher is talking about a 'genre', which just means a type of writing, like fantasy:

So, I assume the teacher wants your child to look at a specific kind of writing, with different examples of the same type.
